First off - the boring stuff. Ella usually wakes up at about 7, SO cranky. She wakes up hangry and is usually whining and crying until she's done with breakfast. It's tricky trying to get all three kids breakfast, Aubrey's lunch packed, and ready for school while Ella is crying so much, but this soon will pass I'm sure.
She usually takes about a 3 hour nap a day. Sometimes she will scare us and go a day or two without a nap, but for now it's looking like she's still needing them. Aubrey and Kate were done napping by 2.5 so I'm just grateful most days she still takes one! Praying I still get that three hour nap from her when the twins are here - heaven knows I'll need it.
She's in bed by 7:30 and goes down great still. She snuggles me every night before bed and is such a little love - always wanting tickle backs and "rub my feet, mama".
Now for the funny stuff, and some naughty stuff too. :)
Whenever Ella gets caught doing something naughty, which isn't as often as it used to be, but definitely still happens, she will cover her eyes with her hands in guilt. It's so funny, it's as if she thinks we won't be able to see her or something. She'll also immediately start sucking up big time after we start scolding her "Hi mom!! You happy mom?!"
When we were still in the beginning stages of potty training one day she had a poop accident and Steve was cleaning it up, Ella patted him on the back and said, "Good job, Dad!!" Thankfully accidents are very rare these days. She was my youngest (and hardest) to potty train but it feels really good to be done. Looks like I get a couple month off diaper changing at least!
She calls Steve "Dad" but pronounces it "Dayyad". It's so toddlerish and adorable, it melts Steve every time. (I'm just boring old "mama" but I'll take it!" )
Ella has entered the princess stage! She knows her Disney princesses better than her letters, shapes, and numbers. She loves watching Princess Singalong and knows each princess has a "song" and knows them all! Whenever a new song comes on she just HAS to go get that princess dress on. Some days I think I'm going to go crazy with our floors cluttered with dresses but I still love the princess stage. It really is the cutest thing ever. She's constantly performing for us in her princess dresses. She LOVES "Sleeping Booty" however has not even seen that movie yet. But ask what song Aurora sings and she'll start belting out, "I woooonderrr!" :)
When we tell Ella no or goodbye, she will sing, "Okay byyyye" all sad like Anna does in Frozen during the song "Do you want to build a Snowman?" It kills me every time!
She is so little still but so invested in my pregnancy. She is very territorial of my belly and does NOT like if Steve or Kate is touching it feeling the babies move. "No! My babies!" She brings my belly bottles, and knows exactly what the babies names are and which baby is on which side of my belly. I have to say, I think July is going to be the best month of her life! She is OBSESSED with babies, and has a million baby dolls that she takes such good care of.
She tells me, "I love you too much!"
The kid is ALWAYS naked. I'm at the point where I only get her dressed if we are leaving the house because she's just going to strip it all off anyways.
Anything sparkly and pretty is "Byoofull!" to her.
Sometimes during her morning "hangry" episodes, she will SOB for a burger. Every morning I'll explain to her that we don't eat burgers for breakfast and she just wails. It's so sad but so hilarious.
Whenever we tell her not to do something, even when she darn well knows she's doing it she will say, "I not!"
If we tell her she's cute, or funny, or any adjective she gets upset and will say, "I'm not ______ I'm Ella!" It's so funny hearing her say "I'm not cute!" Lol.
Kate and her are BFFs during the day. Kate is such an awesome sister and keeps Ella so well entertained. It will be one sad day when Kate starts kindergarten!
I know I'm missing hundreds of adorable and funny things, but this will do for now!
