2015 in a nutshell.

Another year has (almost) come and gone & it was definitely one for the books.  An unexpected move, a flourishing sister relationship, & welcoming a new sweet baby, all alongside the love of my life. 

Here are the highlights of our year...

In January...

 Kate turned two and had a little donut party with family, Steve turned 28, & on the last day of the month, we found out we were expecting baby number three.

In February...

We celebrated Valentine's Day, had our first ultrasound (all was well!), had a busy month of photography sessions, & played lots at home.

In March, we took a quick trip to Disneyland, celebrated Aubrey's fourth birthday, and dealt with my awful morning sickness.  It was definitely the hardest month of the year being so sick. (For me anyways)

In April, Steve and I took a trip to Utah, I turned 26 (yikes!), we found out we were having a third baby GIRL, & celebrated Easter.  I started to slowly feel better this month.  

In May, we sold our house, put a deposit down on a new house to build, and moved to an apartment.  

In June, Aubrey had her Summer dance show, and we had a beach/Disney family trip.

In July, we celebrated Fourth of July, visited San Francisco, tagged along on Steve's work trip to Tahoe, & Kate mastered using the potty.

In August, we had some beautiful family pictures taken by Jillian Goulding, went on a baby moon to Carmel, & at the end of the month we moved into our new house.

September was mainly spent getting settled into our new home, and preparing for our baby to arrive the next month.  Kate also started dance this month.

October was hands down the best month of the year!  We welcomed Ella Rose to our family and spent the whole month obsessing over her.  We also managed to get out of the house for a pumpkin patch trip and celebrated Halloween.

In November Ella turned one month old and we got the hang of things as a family of five.

December we had Ella's blessing, the big girls' Christmas dance show, and a month full of Christmas festivities. (I'll spare you the pictures since they are on the blog so recently).

As each year passes, it feels like time goes by faster and faster and I'm always so grateful that I've kept up with this blog.  Preserving my family's memories and pictures is such a passion of mine and although the girls are growing up way too fast for my liking, it makes me feel a little better knowing that I'll remember so much about them when they were little because of this blog.  I'd like to think that when I'm old and my girls are grown, I'll be glad that I took the time a few times a month to write about our trips we took, funny things they said, & even little things like how tall they were at their check ups.  I hope they will enjoy reading it someday too.  I hope that they will see how much they were loved and how much I enjoyed being their mama.  

Goodbye 2015!  You have been so good to us and I can't wait to spend 2016 with the people I love most.
